I’m no doomsdayer, just a Master Gardener, feeling great anxiety in the face of losing garden friends we count on to grow our own vegetables and fruits. While I have a degree in horticulture, I didn’t see it coming that we would lose our hive of honeybees.

What is the universe telling us, when we lose a vital natural link in the circle of life. Is Mother nature shouting at us? Warning and reminding us, with a sense of both awe and dread, that our ecosystem hangs by a thread and soon we might be the lonely one hungry and dead. — Jerilee Wei

Where Did Our Honeybees Go?

In the circle of plant life, a lost vital link, it’s a disheartening tale,
Disappearing of our garden’s honeybees, a warning, nature’s sorrowful wail,
Does Mother Nature shout at us invoking a sense of dread,
That our ecosystem hangs by a thread, perilously close to being misled?
